Hi. I'm a newcomer to stained glass, having taken my first class in April. I've always had a fascination with glass of all types. I learned lampworking from my brother-in-law and slumping/fusing from my sister. After the last of three kids flew the coop, my sister talked me into taking the class and now I'm hooked on stained glass!

When I'm not wondering --what would happen if I tried... I like to read, garden, and play with my mutt. Pretty much anything so I don't have to cook or clean!

I entered the contest because I thought it would be fun and challenging since it seemed to be oriented more towards creative talents rather than workmanship. (Actually I think it was one too many chocolate martinis!) I'm quite excited about getting my package and seeing what it is that I have to work with. (Hmmmm, wonder if I have enough cocoa and Hershy kisses.)
