Well....my story begins when I, a married mother of two girls with two dogs was squashed in a car accident. The resulting back injury derailed my budding weaving career. I was very unhappy until a local glass artist on television mesmerized me. The next day I was on the phone looking for classes. I love working in glass and have been spending alot of time learning to fuse and incorporating it into my work. I caught the bug two years ago and have since transformed an extra room into a studio. I've made panels and ornaments, bowls and lamps. I am especially fond of nature and the beautiful surroundings here in Arizona are very inspirational. Because of a connective tissue disease I am often not well enough to work so...entering this contest is a giant leap of faith for me as deadlines are not my strong point. I'll give it my best shot and wish all of you the best of luck.
