My name is Michele Butler. I live about one hour north of Philadelphia in Bucks County, PA. I have been doing stained glass as a hobby for about 15 years (in between having and taking care of my 4 children) I usually make smaller panels to give as gifts. Occassionally I go wild and make something big, but I usually pay to it by getting behind in every other aspect of my life.

My favorite part of the process is selecting the glass. I can spend hours walking through the glass studio. Lately, I have been experimenting with glass painting. I have and neighbor and friend, also named Michele, who shares my passion. She is the one who told me about this contest. So she says I have to split any prize money. Which is fine, since we always share supplies anyway. Look forward to seeing what everyone submits. It should be fun......
