I'm Suzanne, and I'm a glassaholic.

I first started playing with glass in 1982 in Sutter Creek, California. I met this guy named Joe (at "The Glass Rush") who told me for a little money, he could teach me to play right! Well...like the pusher on the playground he had me hooked for life.

Although, due to circumstances beyond my control, I was unable to play for quite too long. I pretty much had to reteach myself, along with help from others and now I play with glass full time.

I have a small studio at my home where I truly play, and work in a larger studio where they make me work! At work we use a lot of clear textured glass, and bevels, as we mainly fabricate doors, sidelights and transoms. Whenever we get something to do with color it's a REAL treat! I don't get to use my imagination as much as I would like. I cut glass, and fabricate panels...someone else's designs, and someone else's glass choices.

They asked about other hobbies?? HA...do children count? ;o) I've got two!

Battlefield glass sounded like a lot of fun to wake up the imagination. I cant wait to see what everyone does! :o)
