How did you first get started in stained glass?

I had wanted to try stained glass for years. But it wasn't until after my mother passed away that I decided "life was to short" and knew if I didn't try it now I never would.

What expectations do you have heading into this contest?

I expect to have fun. And I hope to sharpen my skill and learn new ones.

What do you feel are your strong/weak points in stained glass?

I feel my weakest point is knowing when to stop on a design, sometimes less is better. My strong point is I never give up, if it doesn't look right I try it again.

What other hobbies do you enjoy?

I enjoy fishing and camping.

Is there anything else you'd like to tell us about yourself?

My husband and I have five children.
