How did you first get started in stained glass?

I learned the basics from a very good friend and took off from there. I am still at it while my friend has moved on to other things.

What expectations do you have heading into this contest?

I am looking forward to the challenge of creating from the mystery theme items. I am hoping the diversion will ease the winter doldrums here in the great white north.

What do you feel are your strong/weak points in stained glass?

My strong points in working with stained glass are soldering and color selection. I guess my weak point is cutting, I think I spend entirely too much time grinding!

What other hobbies do you enjoy?

I very much enjoy doing things around the house I like to putter.
