This is my entry for round one. It sure was fun. I used every technique I know to create this box that I call "Midnight at the Oasis." The painting was done with glass stains and paints, and the mosaics are meant to give it that sandy desert look, and a sense of age. Some copper foiling was employed and even a little 3-D action to make it interesting. A light was added through a hole placed in the back of the box so that all the treasures glitter after dark. Hope you enjoy looking at it as much as I enjoyed making it.
