When I saw the round-one theme items, my first thought was Christmas leftovers. The only thing I could see was a nativity set, but that seemed boring and unimaginative. Then I thought flying camels, but what to do with the jewel? Finally, I settled on placing the camel at an oasis, near a pyramid with an all-seeing-eye. But what about the wings? The pyramid became a kaleidoscope and the wings became part of the image disk. Problem solved.

I used the rolled edge off sheets of art glass for the edge of one of the discs and ball chain and the angel wing edge for the other one. I had some trouble getting the disc flat on the rivet but finally got it all attached pretty close. I used spectrum for both the pyramid and the sand and then a piece of KOG for the water. I used spectrum for the tree trunks and a scrap of green glass for the leaves.

The Project took approximately 25 hours to complete. I spent 2 weeks trying to come up with an idea that I was happy with.
