The title of my piece is "Jewel of the Nile" because the camel and the jewel reminded me of the Michael Douglas movie by that name. It took me over a week to get my design the way I wanted it. I fused "Cleo" and the others to add a little more dimension because of the camel. But foiling the fused pieces was a definite challenge.

My last problem was trying to be realistic in showing Egypt. I had to find colors that went together but also contrasted the fertile land around the Nile River and the barrenness of the desert. Overall it took me about two and a half weeks to totally do my entry.
